FAQs

• How can I pay?

  Small+Mighty is a cashless venue to mitigate business risk and reduce operating costs. Online bookings must be paid for at the time of booking. If you are unable to do this you can pay by phone or card at reception upon arrival, but please be aware we cannot guarantee spaces will be available and you may have a long wait for the next session. 

• Where are you based?

  Small and Mighty is at the top of Godalming High Street just past the Pepper Pot. Godalming is just outside of Guildford in Surrey.

• Do I need to book in advance?

  No, but we do strongly recommend that you book your session before your arrival. Small+Mighty has a capacity limit for each session and we do get very busy. Weekends and holidays usually sell out in advance and walk-ins cannot be accommodated if we are sold out.

• Can I change online and party bookings?

  Yes, subject to availability. Party bookings can be amended up to 7 days before the party, subject to availability through your account. If you’re having trouble, please contact us on hello@smallandmighty.club

• Shoe, sock and bare foot policy.

  We operate a strict shoes off policy in our play areas. Please ensure that all footwear is removed before entering the play spaces to keep the space clean and hygienic for the children playing there. Socks must be worn at all times to reduce the chances of transferable foot infections and keep the space clean and safe for all guests, particularly crawling babies who’s hands and mouths will likely make contact with floor surfaces. If you do not have socks on you will be asked to purchase some at reception.

• Is your space SEN-friendly?

  Yes! Our space has a carefully chosen aqua, lavender and green colour pallet to reduce hypersensitivity. Our entire venue is lined in low LED lighting to destimulate and regulate. Our play spaces are equipt with tactile wall games, soft furnishings and modern sensory-based technology to encourage focus or relaxation. Our interactive digital sensory zone is particularly appealing as our lighting and projector can be used to create a low stimulation environment with calmign music and sensory projections and activities. • Is there space for buggies?

  Yes! Buggies can be left in the front of the cafe for your ease of access but there is also some space around the tables.

• When are we open

  We are currently open seven days a week from 9am till 5.30pm. Our slots are 1.5hrs long and are bookable every half an hour depending on the capacity of the session. We also operate seasonal events outside these hours. We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Please see our Instagram for current updates to this. _Smallnmighty.

• Can we bring food?

  Due to our food health & safety policy, no self-catering is allowed to help us to manage allergens. Our cafe sells a wide range of food and snacks for babies, toddlers and older children as well as adults.

• Cancellation & Refunds

  We operate a no refund policy at Small+Mighty in order to manage our capacity but we will move your session to a more convenient date or time subject to availability and when you request this 24hours before your session. We are unable to do this without 24 hours notice as we would unlikely be able to resell your session. Please contact us on hello@smallandmighty.club

• Parking and transport.

  Small+Mighty is surrounded by easily accessible car parks. The closest is South Street car park GU7 1AJ Ringo code 16246 it is £1.10 per hour. We are also close to Mill Lane and Mint Street car parks. Godalming Train station is about 5 minutes walk and the Pepper pot bus stop is pretty much directly outside with just a stone’s throw to walk to our doors.

• Age limits

  All ages are welcome in our cafe. Our space is geared towards the under sevens but we do have activities and equipment for children up to 10 years old.

• Are parents required to attend children’s parties?

  The parent(s)/guardian(s) of the party child are required to stay on site throughout the party. The party guests’ parents are welcome to stay if they wish.

• Do you offer group bookings for schools and nurseries?

  Yes! We offer special hire discounts to nurseries and schools. Please reach out to us on hello@smallandmighty.club to discuss this with us.

• Classes

  We partner with local class providers to offer children and adults family-focused classes. From music to crafts, wellness, and cookery our space is perfect to enjoy a social class-based activity.

• Booking

  You can book your slot on our website. Our slots are 1.5hrs long and are bookable every half an hour depending on the capacity of the session. We require all visitors to be added to your booking so that we can manage capacity and seat people appropriately. We have three ticket types for newborns, children and adults. Children over 10 should be added as an aditional adult ticket.

• What’s your capacity?

  We have a maximum capacity of 60 people in any session.

• How do memberships work?

  Your membership is limited to up to one visit per day. You will not be entering into a yearly commitment or contract and you can cancel at any time during the term with your four weeks written notice, as long as it covers the amount of sessions you have attended. For more information contact us on hello@smallandmighty.club You are not permitted to share your membership with anyone who isn’t named on your membership, this will result in your membership being declined.

• What’s on the menu?

  The Small and Mighty cafe operates a healthy and inclusive seasonal menu. We reccomend ordering your food within half an hour of your arrival in order to ensure sufficient time to eat. Choose from colourful salads and fruit bowls to delicious sandwiches, soups and local bread. We offer a range of cakes, pastries, and savouries with gluten and dairy free options as well as plenty of choice for vegans and vegetarians. We have an ice cream bar with delicious fresh toppings as well as the most amazing local barista made coffee.

• Accessibility

  If you need a bit of extra space or assistance for whatever reason we can arange for your entry to our unit from the South Street car park at the rear of our building. We can also offer you additional parking and extra assistance. We have a narrow doorway at the front part of our unit so please contact us on hello@smallandmighty if you think this might make your visit difficult and we will do our best to help.
